My Letters To The Baltimore Vacants Reinvestment Council
Under Governor Moore's executive order , the Baltimore Vacants Reinvestment Council was created to work on tackling the vacancy crisis in Baltimore City. You can find the list of the members on the council, past meeting notes, and future meeting dates here . Although I am not on the council and testimony is not allowed, I attend every meeting and have written letters to the council to express my concerns and thoughts from every meeting. I will continue to attend the meetings

Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Meeting Tonight at the Enoch Pratt -Waverly Branch Library, 11/10/2025 !
CIP is a part of the city's budget that funds projects we use every day from our city owned buildings, our roads, and the investments in housing. The Department of Planning is hosting a series of meetings across the city to provide information on CIP, and to provide residents an opportunity to share what types of projects they would like to see funded. Assistance During the Federal Shutdown
It is a very scary time right now for so many of our residents who are being affected by the republican federal government shutdown. Thousands of federal workers are being furloughed or laid off. SNAP and other critical programs to assist our residents have been shut down. Baltimore City is stepping up. Mayor Scott announced that there is over $4.6 million in aid for impacted residents. As the weather gets colder, please prepare your home for a safe winter. Check your heater now to see if it is working and get it serviced before it gets too cold. If you are an older adult aging in place and find you do not have heat, you may contact our office now so we can help you navigate through the city's home repair programs. My Votes on Controversial Zoning Bills
Today the City Council begins to take up the most controversial of the zoning bills package proposed by the Mayor and several of my colleagues.
