The Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) has opened its wait list for project-based housing choice vouchers. Being on the waiting list is the first step to make sure you have the opportunity to have rent subsidies in buildings that the Housing Authority has approved for vouchers. Each year on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I reflect on a speech of his that I find inspirational. This year, I chose " Our God is Marching On ." This speech was given after demonstrators that he led finally crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama.
