Visit Amy Sherald's Exhibit at the Baltimore Museum of Art

We invite you to visit the Amy Sherald American Sublime exhibit at the Baltimore Museum of Art. It features artist Amy Sherald’s mid-career retrospective, which includes several paintings she made while living here in Baltimore. It also features the Michelle Obama portrait! Amy Sherald had planned to have this exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery, but withdrew due to censorship of one of her great works. Baltimore is proud to host this exhibit here! It will be open through April 5th, 2026. Tickets can be purchased on the BMA website here, and Thursday evenings are free admission, along with announced community days!
