Housing Tip of the Week: The State's Housing Needs Assessment

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (MDHCD) recently released its updated Housing Needs Assessment. The Assessment includes specific analysis regarding housing production, housing affordability for homeowners and renters, and an analysis of the housing needs for older adults and people with disabilities. The findings are not going to surprise you. There is not enough affordable housing in our state and city for both renters and homeowners. We also need more units to accommodate the need to grow our city and our state. You can read the summaries and the entire study on the Maryland DHCD here.
