As the weather gets colder, please prepare your home, particularly your pipes. Although it is recommended to keep your heat at 65 degrees to protect your pipes, we also know how high the BGE bills are these days. In addition, turn off the water on outdoor faucets and bring your hoses in. Most importantly, know where your water shut-off valve is just in case you need to shut the water off immediately.
