If you are thinking about purchasing a home in Baltimore City, take a moment to research the property on the Baltimore Codemap website. Codemap contains valuable housing data such as current and previous citations, notices, and permits issued on a property. Through Codemap you can also see if a home was recently rehabbed or if it has a vacant building notice. Homes with vacant building notices will be marked by a red square on Codemap. We have seen developers sell homes with vacant building notices on them, potentially putting the home buyer at risk of purchasing an unsafe property.
