Celebrating 3 years as your City Councilwoman!

December 10th marked the 3rd year of our term as your City Councilwoman! We were sworn in at the height of the pandemic and have been working hard ever since.

With your support we have accomplished so much this year. Here’s a quick run-down of our accomplishments:

We've had some major wins this third year! Here's a short list:

  • Passage my critical affordable housing legislation including the Mary Pat Clarke Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act and the Inclusionary Housing Package.

  • Introduced legislation to further our efforts to tackle vacant properties which as lead to more emphasis on this crisis.

  • Advocated for changes in tax sale to ensure residents do not lose their homes.

  • Installation of significant traffic calming to meet residents demands for slower speeds in our neighborhoods.

  • Made history by hosting the first two hearings ever with simultaneous translation in the Council chambers, and fighting for municipal ID for our residents.

  • Worked hard to help residents by replacing street lights, removing abandoned vehicles, correcting water bills, helping residents avoid eviction, reporting illegal dumping, and so much more.

Thank you again for this opportunity of a lifetime! I look forward to continuing to serve and fighting for our city.
